Control Studio Versions and Requirements

Control Studio Lite is used when a customer wishes to receive data via a VPN connection. Control Studio Lite Edition can send data to Telemetry Hub but cannot receive data.

Control Studio Team is used when a customer wishes to receive data via Telemetry Hub connection. Control Studio Team Edition can send and receive data to and from Telemetry Hub.

Control Studio Factory is used when a manufacturer wishes to receive data for customer data via Telemetry Hub connection. Control Studio Factory Edition can receive data from Telemetry Hub.

Minimum Supported Hardware

• x64 Processor Architecture

• 1.6Ghz or faster with 2 (4 threads) on an i5 6th generation or equivalent AMD processor

• USB for hardware licenses (required for Factory edition)

• 8GB RAM

• 500MB disk space

• 1440 x 900 Screen resolution

Recommended Hardware

• x64 Processor Architecture

• 2.0Ghz or faster with 4 (8 threads) on an i7 or i9 10th generation or equivalent AMD processor

• 16GB RAM

• 1GB disk space

• 1920 x 1080 Screen resolution

Customers running many vehicles such as manufacturers or race series may require more processor cores and memory. Please email support@cntrl.io if you require assistance in scaling hardware for such an application.

• Windows Server 2019 (Remote desktop support is experimental)
