Vehicle properties in Control Studio

The vehicle properties are shown when clicking on the vehicle left bottom. The first tab Properties is used to change race number, friendly name and the colour of the banner, both in the database as well as in the vehicle summary. (1.) The Telemetry Hub settings are important for changing the cloud mode and the metadata sync. (2.)

Cloud modes are:

  • CloudRX - if you are already on direct to cloud and are not using a VPN anymore

  • CloudTX- if you are using a VPN but are sharing your telemetry data with a manufacturer (Cloud Data License will show Licensed by Manufacturer if licensing was agreed to)

  • Standalone - VPN telemetry data receive without sharing the data

Metadata sync: If enabled, the local metadata will by uploaded in the cloud and synchronised to all machines using instances of Control Studio within the same team.

Meta Info, the third tab on the bottom when clicking on a vehicle is showing if the correct metadata was found on the machine, the metadata filename, logger type and when the logger was last updated. When the metadata is missing, it will show "missing" as status and will tell which filename it is looking for.

The Metadata Log is showing more detailed information about if the metadata was found, the folderpath it has set to and if it was synchronised, etc.
